Product-market fit feels different than I expected

Everyone talks about product-market fit like it's a switch that flips. Like one day you don't have it, then suddenly you do.

Reality? It's more like gradually turning up the volume on a song.

First, a few customers can't live without your product. Then more. Then it becomes obvious.

The hard part is distinguishing between early signals and noise. That customer who loves your product - are they an outlier, or the first of many?

We're somewhere in that messy middle right now. The song is getting louder, but I can't tell if it's going to be a hit yet.
